 To date, „St. JOHNNY & The Sinners“ is the only band in Czech republic playing west-coast jump blues style with authentic sound, using original tube equipment back from 50’s. Swing-blues guitar and raw tember of St. JOHNNY is accompanied by amplified harp of Charlie Slavík, one of the best harp players in Czech republic ever. The band’s shuffle is driven by swinging rhythm section. The repertoire is a mix of good old blues standards and the band’s own composition. The band showed it’s qualities when opening for a big names such as Lurrie Bell, Charlie Musselwhite, Paul Lamb, David Evans, Sharon Lewis or Ana Popovic, and also on tour with great american country singer Brent Moyer as his back-up band. You can meet the band on countless blues-club stages, country & blues festivals and they are also sought-after attraction booked for various private parties. Their abroad performances (Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Poland) prove that „St. JOHNNY & The Sinners“ can satisfy the audience all around Europe. Band released 3 CDs.
